The Galerie Marcilhac is undoubtedly the oldest Parisian gallery devoted to the Decorative Arts of the twentieth century. Located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, under the direction of Félix-Félix Marcilhac, the gallery presents unique works from the 1920’s to the 1940’s. Galerie Marcilhac has established itself internationally as one of the most important galleries specializing in the Decorative Arts, due to the careful selection of pieces by leading French decorators.
The gallery organizes exhibitions devoted to the great figures of decorative arts that uphold the respected reputation of the gallery. Exhibitions at Galerie Marcilhac include works by famous artists from the Art Deco period such as Jean-Michel Frank, Émile Jacques Ruhlmann, Eugène Printz, Marcel Coard, Jean Dunand, Louis Süe et André Mare or Joseph Csaky, alongside works by more contemporary artists like Alberto and Diego Giacometti.
Félix-Félix Marcilhac is part of a young generation of art dealers who are today building the future of the gallerists and antiquaries of tomorrow. Held by a new vision of the preservation and valorization of our heritage, Galerie Marcilhac highlights more than ever the Decorative Arts of the twentieth century. The active participation and high-quality presentation of the gallery at the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris and at several international exhibitions and art fairs in Brussels, London and New York, have confirmed the international success of the Galerie Marcilhac.
